- ○Ayumi Festival ・・・ held yearly on August 16 th at Ayumizaki Park and the shores of Kasumigaura.
○Kasumigaura Festival ・・・ held at Hitachi Wild Park No.1, Hydrangea Chateau and other locations
○Heisanbou ・・・ held yearly on May 5th at Ushiwata Kashima Shrine
○Fujikiri Gion ・・・ held every year on the fourth Saturday and Sunday of July at Fukaya Yasaka Shrine
○Nishinarui no Hyottoko ・・・ held every year on the fourth Saturday and Sunday of July at Nishinarui Yasaka Shrine
○Others There are a number of other festivals taking place in various location throughout the region which are associated with Gion and other notable celebrations, with most of them being held sometime between mid and late July.
