- I’d like to see the famous cloth sailboats, but where should I go in order to see them?

- The reception area and embarkation point can both be found a short 2-3 minute walk from Ayumizaki Park at the Shitozaki Fishing Port in Kasumigaura City . For those wishing to see the cloth sailboats, an accompanying boat designated for sightseeing passengers which regularly tours the local waters is available. This way, riders will be able to get an up-close look at the cloth sailboats.
・More details regarding the sightseeing and the cloth sailboats can be found here.- Seeing as how the boats require wind in order to sail, the boats may temporarily cease operation in cases where the wind is either weak or too strong, as well as in heavy rain or poor weather conditions resulting in large waves, etc.
- Passenger s are not allowed to ride the cloth sailboats. This is due to the fact that space on the boats is limited and additional riders may prove to be a hindrance in the raising and lowering of the sail and other vital operations.
- Those who wish to ride the accompanying sightseeing boat are required to wear one of the lifejackets provided under legal obligation.
- The cloth sailboats can been seen in other cities surrounding Kasumigaura as well.
